Leviticus 26:30

30 And ^aI will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars and ^bcast your dead bodies upon the dead bodies of your idols, and my soul will abhor you.

1 Kings 13:2

16 And as Josiah turned, he saw the tombs there on the mount. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar and defiled it, ^faccording to the word of the Lord that the man of God proclaimed, who had predicted these things. 17 Then he said, “What is that monument that I see?” And the men of the city told him, ^g“It is the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and predicted ^{▼▼Hebrew called} these things that you have done against the altar at Bethel.” 18 And he said, “Let him be; let no man move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones ⁱof the prophet who came out of Samaria. 19 And Josiah removed all the shrines also of the high places that were ^jin the cities of Samaria, which kings of Israel had made, provoking the Lord to anger. He did to them according to all that he had done at Bethel. 20 And ^khe sacrificed all the priests of the high places who were there, on the altars, ^land burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

5 ^mHe also burned the bones of the priests on their altars and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 8:1-2

1 “At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. 2 And they shall be spread ⁿbefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. ^oAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. ^pThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.
